Hi – You wrote on my blog about Songpan but because of government blocking I don’t seem to be able to answer comments. Just wanted to let you know that there is no problem with pre-booking of horses or anything in Songpan. Just come and they will find a horseman and a horse for you. During peak season (in the olden days before the earthquake)they could have as many as 100 horses going out on the same day! Just check in with Emma and she will help you with everything. Horse office is right next to her cafĂ©.

Like your blog, Maliandao is one of my fave places too. Take care! Ingrid in Chengdu
